The Eeyou Marine Region Map (2018)

The Eeyou Marine Region encompasses eastern James Bay and southeastern Hudson Bay.

The southeastern Hudson Bay portion is made up of the overlap zone, where the Cree and Inuit share resource use and decision-making abilities. At the southern end of the overlap zone (the Cree zone), the Cree have primary decision-making powers.

Similarly, at the northern end of the overlap zone (the Inuit zone), the Inuit have primary decision-making powers.
